In this course, students will read and translate Korean TV drama scripts while comparing language and culture to identify Korean and Chinese linguistic features. Learning the differences between both languages and cultures is the most important element of translation. This course will focus on the relations between language and culture will learn these differences by translating Korean TV drama scripts into Chinese. Students will be able to translate phrases, expressions and responses used commonly day to day with ease.
